The ceremony, held at the Somali Embassy, was witnessed by Somalia’s Ambassador, Jibril Ibrahim Abdulle.

The agreement was signed by Future Growth Forum Chairman Mr. Mohamed Abdikani Sidow and Mr. Abass Mohamed Farah, Senior Advisor at SOBS.

The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration on Halal standards by raising public awareness about the risks of uncertified products, encouraging Somali businesses to verify the Halal compliance of imports, and promoting broader understanding of the economic opportunities in the Halal sector.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to building a lasting, effective partnership that enhances product quality and supports Halal-driven economic growth.
