Future Growth Forum, Pakistan Envoy Discuss Halal Trade Expansion

In a significant move aimed at enhancing cross-border halal trade, Mr. Abdulaziz Billow Ali, CEO of the Future Growth Forum, held a strategic meeting with Ms. Adeela Younis, the esteemed Commercial Counselor at the Pakistan High Commission to Kenya. The discussion centered on expanding opportunities in the halal economy—an industry in which Pakistan, with its vast Muslim population and rapidly growing halal sector, plays a pivotal role.
Ms. Younis recently served as the keynote speaker at the Mombasa Halal Workshop, a landmark event convened in collaboration with the Kenyan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Mombasa Chapter) and the County Government of Mombasa. Her address emphasized the need for stronger bilateral cooperation to unlock the full potential of halal trade between Pakistan and East Africa.
The Future Growth Forum delegation was graced by the presence of Ms. Ayan Mohamed, Director of Partnerships and Sponsorships, and Ms. Najma Mohamed, Director of Operations and Logistics, both of whom play integral roles in driving the Forum’s vision of sustainable, inclusive trade across emerging markets.
This engagement marks a pivotal step in strengthening commercial ties and fostering innovation in halal trade between Kenya and Pakistan, while reinforcing Future Growth Forum’s position as a key convener in the global trade dialogue.
